Video Memories

I’ve spent the last 8 hours uploading video to YouTube.  Uhh…I’m tired of it, but I know that I will be grateful for these videos down the road.  Shoot, Witni and I were looking at how small Emil was in this video compared to his size now, and our hearts were already breaking.  He’s so little here!  Hopefully, YouTube will be around for the long haul, because my Macbook can’t handle the disk space and everything is going to the trash once uploaded.

I’ll try to get some more videos up here soon.  Here is a fun minute and a half of Emil just being playful on his blanket from Aunt Heather.  It was only a few weeks ago when he could barely fill his diaper.  Now, he’s filling it and has some skin rolls to spare.  Witni keeps saying he’s healthy.  I guess the chubby roles as a baby are the only time in life it can be called “healthy.”

So fun having this little guy around.  Sons are truly a blessing.

Pedigree Dogs Slow Motion Video – Outstanding!!!

If you are a dog lover, you absolutely must watch this video!!!  What does this have to do with baby blankets you ask?  Well ….  you see … dogs and baby blankets go together …. like …. like ….  Oh, ok.  You got me.  There is no correlation between the two, but who cares?  There are some videos that are cute and then there are some videos that make you belly laugh out loud.  It’s Friday.  It’s time for a good belly laugh.

I have a golden retriever, and he’s one of my best buds in the world.  There is no doubt that he loyally loves me, but he also loves treats, like the dogs in this video.  Enjoy, and have a great weekend!

You’ve Lost That Nursing Feeling

Here’s a cute little video to start your day.  How many moms out there can relate to this one?  Nursing your baby is a very special gift, but there has to be a time when the little one is weened off.  Come to think of it, it’s a pretty good metaphor for parenting and life.  When that time comes, be strong and be creative.  We love our security blankets which you can check out here, but you may need to use your judgment as a mother on if it’s a good time to introduce one.  You don’t want to train your child to jump from being on dependent from one thing to another.

Anyway, enjoy this cute little clip.  It’s not Tom Cruise in Top Gun, but a fun little spoof.  Does this feel like the breastfeeding experience you know moms?  Have a great weekend everyone!

Baby Roller Skating Video

Ok, here’s a little weekend entertainment on the light side.  These babies can get down and do some amazing tricks on roller skates.  Evian has used a classic sales technique that works which is …. babies are cute.  So, what’s better than one cute baby selling our product?  30 cute babies!  And what’s better than 30 cute babies???  30 cute babies on roller skates!  Genius Evian.  Genius.  You win again.

So, yeah, this video has absolutely nothing to do with baby blankets.  Though, they could probably make a video with these babies as Jedi Knights wearing baby blankets.  We just thought we would lighten up your weekend a little bit.  Nothing wrong with a good commercial every now and then.

Aden and Anais Video Review

We wanted to pass on this great video review done by our friends at EmbellishedMom.com.  We’ve tried to tell you the amazing benefits of aden + anais blankets, but if you don’t believe us, here’s someone else’s word for it.

The video goes to show just how big these blankets are.  You don’t really appreciate the full 47″ x 47″ untilit’s compared to another blanket.  Because of it’s great size, these blankets are great for swaddling.

The Snuggie

A good friend of mine, who is a OCD penny pincher, posted this infomercial on his site, and I just had to share it.  A couple of things are hilarious here:

1.  When we were college roommates living in an apartment, you could constantly here my friend Brian yell “Pennies!” on almost a daily basis.  Translation – if there was anything on in our apartment, lights, heat, extra toilet flushes, he would yell “pennies” which was his way at chastising us for not saving money.  So, this blanket is ironically perfect for him.

2.  As my buddy points out on his blog, this product is simply hilarious.  Brian pointed out that it makes you look like Obi Won Kenobi.  I would also like to note that you will look like a Jawa.
